After designing an own-house for the land owner in Balıkesir named "our-house", the owner decided to evaluate other sites for profit making which then decided to name this as öbür ev; "other house".

​

This 4 storey apartment consist of 11 flats with different plan types and sizes. The requirement from the land owner was to see this building as if it shall have one of the old time palace looks.

​

To enable this, 18-19th century civil architecture buildings in Istanbul were examined and tried to fit that in this new built apartment.
