Konya Selcuklu Municipallity in collaboration with Butterfly House Consultancy, Malaysia commissioned Arup Turkey for the Tropical Butterfly Garden and Insect Museum building in Konya. OC Architecture has undertaken the executive architectural services in the design.

This special and one of a kind building with its super structure, has unique architecture and extraordinary climatic conditions inside, created a special environment best for tropical flora and fauna in the middle of a region which has the opposite climatic conditions outside.

The museum opened in mid of 2016 and welcomes its visitors.
